John D in the News?

Perhaps you’ve noticed the latest headlines, and thought to yourself, “is that the John D?” Well, the answer is, “knowing John D, most likely.” He claims he was never consulted prior to these allegations. Here are some of the excerpts taken from the news:
"John is expected to pound Acapulco...and then batter other coastal resorts like Manzanillo, Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos in the Baja California peninsula in coming days."
“In Puerto Vallarta, among Mexico’s most-visited resorts, officials scrambled to prepare 50 emergency shelters while sending patrols to hunt for possible damage from John.”
“Curtis Bickers, who was going to get married in Los Cabos on Saturday, abandoned the plans as John barreled in from the ocean.”
“The Mexican government expects John to pass ``really close'' to the states of Colima, Michoacan and Jalisco on the Pacific coast, said Raul Rivera, director of emergency administration for the Federal Interior Ministry of Mexico, in an interview yesterday.
“John pummeled Mexico's resort-studded Pacific Coast.” “John wasn't likely to affect the United States.” “Kristy was about 690 miles away from John, butforecasters said some interaction was possible. Ifthat happened, Kristy would likely be absorbed by thelarger John, forecasters said.”

I have taken exception to a few of this alleged reports. Firstly, it was stated that I wasn’t likely to affect the United States. This hurts. Granted, I’m still relatively young, and haven’t made my mark on every country in the world, but being that I’m an American, I would like most to affect my homeland. This obviously means that I will have to concentrate my future efforts on the local soil. Secondly, I have no idea who this Kristy is. I know some Christies, I know some Christys, and I even know a Qryst-E. But I have never met any Kristy. So far, she is maintaining her distance, but forecasting some interaction between her and I left me to wonder if she is looking for me, stalking me, or what? Depending on what she looks like, oh and her personality, I’m not sure that I should be avoiding her. Since I am larger than her, I can be assured that I weigh more than her. A good thing obviously. I’ll wait and see what tomorrows Yahoo seers see.
